An October tradition for many Americans, corn mazes provide a fun and educational alternative to chilling haunted houses. As the warm summer months melt away to a cooler crisp, Fall sweater weather provides ideal temperatures for family adventures in the field.
Have you ever explored a corn maze? Each corn maze has a unique design, featuring twisting pathways surrounded by towering corn stalks. For those seeking to navigate a corn maze for the first time, or perhaps desire to try a new maze this year, our team at DriveTheNation.com has you covered. We’ve named the top 6 Corn Maze Adventures to Explore this Fall
Sever’s Corn Maze (Shakopee, Minnesota)
Sever’s Corn Maze has been entertaining couples and families for nearly two decades. It even doubles as “Scream Town” every weekend in October. For those who prefer a less spooky adventure, attendees are invited to explore the pumpkin patch and apple orchard on site. Corn pits, an exotic animal zoo, and giant jumping pillows combine to make Sever’s Corn Maze a blast for all ages. (DTN Tip: If you plan on going at least twice, the season passes are the most economical way to go!)
Treinen Farm (Lodi, Wisconsin)
Treinen Farm offers a variety of activities for children and adults, including a popular corn maze on the premises. The farm also features a pumpkin patch, hay rides, and evening bonfires. Admission prices vary depending on activities. (DTN Tip: Visit Treinen Farm for the highly anticipated Zompocalypse, usually the Saturday before Halloween. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as a zombie or a survivor for a night filled with fun, food, and a whole lot of scares!)
Happy Day Farm (Manalapan, New Jersey)
Happy Day Farm features the state of New Jersey’s newest and largest corn maze. The farm offers many attractions, including a giant checkerboard, lavender garden, corn maze, pig races, hayrides, a sunflower maze, pedal carts, and rubber duck racing. (DTN Tip: While you’re there, be sure to try Maze-O-Poly. The popular maze comes to life as families navigate their way through the farm’s 10-Acre Corn Maze in search of each square on the Maze-O-Poly game board. Earn the most money and become “Farmer of the Ear!”)
