Traditional Eggnog

What You’ll Need
6 large eggs*, separated
3 cups whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups dark rum (optional)
1-cup sugar
A pinch of kosher salt
Whole nutmeg and cinnamon stick (for serving)
What To Do
1. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and salt in a large bowl, then add in milk, cream, and rum.
2. Cover the base in chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
3. Before serving beat egg whites in a bowl. Fold into eggnog base and grate nutmeg and cinnamon over to your liking.
Cranberry Sparkler
