Should your travels lead you to the nation’s capital, be sure to stop by the White House Historical Association’s gingerbread house exhibit at Historic Decatur House in Downtown. Painstakingly pasted together by former White House Executive Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier, the exhibit is one to attract all ages and tastebuds. Before you leave, hop into your sleigh and hop on over to the nearby White House Visitor Center to pick up the official 2016 White House Christmas Ornament, inspired by the fire trucks that responded to a 1929 fire at the White House on Christmas Eve.
