You can’t start rockin’ around the Christmas Tree until you’ve picked out the perfect one for you and your family. Here is a list of five festive Christmas Tree Farms to check out this season.
Maple Row Farm (Easton, Connecticut)
Formerly a dairy farm, Maple Row has been thriving in Easton since the 18th century and has been run by eight generations of Edwards family. They began growing their signature Christmas trees in the 1950s.
Starting November 23, you can visit the farm to pick your tree. On the weekends, you can enjoy free hayrides, refreshments, and tailgating. Or, you can stop by on a weekday for a quieter time- and a discount.
Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm (Cutchogue, New York)
Visit this family-friendly tree farm in Long Island. Once you’ve selected your tree to take home, join in the festivities, there is face painting, balloon-making, and guest appearances from Santa and his real-live reindeer! Sip on samples of hot apple cider while you wait to get your picture taken with them.
Circle C Tree Farms (Boone, North Carolina)
Get on down to the Circle C Tree Farm and take your pick of Fraiser firs on this 30-acre farmland. The whole family is invited- including the furry family as long as they are on a leash. While choosing wreaths and rope inside the barn, visitors can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cider. On the weekends, take a hayride through the scenic fields.
Pioneer Trails (Poland, Ohio)
At Pioneer Trails, you will discover 35 acres of spruce, fir and pine trees to explore and a horse-drawn wagon ride. Afterward, treat yourself to some donuts, hot cocoa and more inside of their barn. Or stop inside of the gift shop to pick out a handmade wood-burned ornament for your new tree.
Redland Family Farm (Oregon City, Oregon)
The Redland Family Farm will only be open for two days this year- December 1st and 2nd from 10 am- 3 pm. But don’t fret. There’s plenty of fun to fill up those days. Turn it into an all-day affair and enjoy what’s known as their Christmas Experience- with complimentary wagon rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, craft station, snacks, and so much more.
Have fun
