With a city rich in history and culture such as Washington D.C. it’s a must visit location which plenty of fun for the entire family. The Lincoln Memorial
An American monument built to honor our 16th president of the United States is open 24 hours a day and can easily be accessed by taking a metro station, or a short walk depending on where your hotel accommodations are. This would make a great history lesson for the kids, or simply be a piece of history you don’t want to miss.
National World War II Memorial
This memorial is dedicated to Americans who served in the armed forces and as civilians during World War II. Here you can see architecture and sculptures that are significant from that period in time.
Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial
Located right in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. is the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. This memorial is just an excellent experience for anyone. It honors all that MLK fought for and his legacy.
