The air is crisp, the sun goes down earlier, and it’s the happiest time of year…pumpkin everything season. What once was just a gourd we cut faces into is now an annual phenomenon.
Here’s our round-up of our favorite pumpkin products:
1. Pumpkin in your car
You said you want to smell pumpkin wherever you go? Good news! Yankee Candle’s Car Vent Clip air fresheners come in Spiced Pumpkin. Don’t blame us if you suddenly feel the need to head to the nearest coffeehouse drive-thru with this in your car.
2. Pumpkin in your breakfast
We tried the Pumpkin Spice Eggo Waffles and Kellogg’s limited edition Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts, but that pumpkin craving still persists. If you’re looking for an on-the-go breakfast with real fruit and no artificial flavors or preservatives, check out Trader Joe’s This Pumpkin Walks Into a Bar… cereal bars.
3. Pumpkin in your beer
Despite the latte’s popularity, pumpkin doesn’t need to be kept to morning beverages. Most grocery stores stock big name pumpkin brews from Shock Top, Blue Moon, and Samuel Adams. Check to see what local craft brewers are cooking up and try something new. Pictured: Good Gourd by Cigar City Brewing Company from Tampa, Florida.
4. Pumpkin in your pie
Well, this one’s a given, right? You can have your pie and eat it, too when you get a mail-order pie. Country Living Magazine named Grand Traverse Pie Company as having the best mail-order pumpkin pie. Order online (might as well get two, it’s free shipping on the second) or visit one of their 14 Michigan locations.
Happy Thanksgiving! Our wish is that you are all able to share a meal and some happy memories with your family and friends today. #lovepeacepie
