Celebration in the Oaks, now in its 35th year, is a beautiful event that sees more than a million lights draped over the large oak trees in City Park. While it’s usually a walking tour, this year, things have changed a bit: visitors will be able to drive through a 2.25-mile route to admire the trees.

This dazzling assortment features two and a half miles of light arrangements, including snowmen, dinosaurs, a forest of icicles, and more.
Lights Under Louisville (Louisville, KY)
For a tradition that’s a little untraditional, head to this underground light show, held every year at the Louisville Mega Cavern. That’s right, you can drive through 17 miles of three million lights, and that includes 850-holiday characters. There’s nothing else like it in the world!

Set on the gorgeous, 65-acre Bellingrath Estate, this amazing event has been recognized nationally for its beautiful walking tour experience that’s worked on year-round and features more than three million lights. This year, it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
