Believe it or not, you don’t have to travel outside of the country to experience some of the most pristine and tranquil beaches. The United States is home to some of the best beaches in the world.

Here are some of our favorites:
Santa Cruz – California
One of California’s most famous beaches is Santa Cruz. Of course, there are amazing ocean views, but most noteworthy is the boardwalk. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy rides, attractions, local restaurants, shopping and more. In addition, if the children are coming along there will be plenty to keep them busy. Ranging from games to Neptune’s Kingdom to an arcade.
Nantucket – Massachusetts
A summer destination for travelers all over the world is the charming island of Nantucket. Right off the coast of Cape Cod, you’ll be sure to enjoy the scenic views and outdoor activities. There is plenty for the entire family to enjoy such as swimming, fishing, and surfing. If you’re in the mood for a something a little more laid back, enjoy a picnic with the family.
Coronado – California
Located off the coast of the beautiful San Diego, California is the island of Coronado. Here, you’ll enjoy the San Diego skyline in addition to many other family-friendly, or romantic activities. Dive into some watersports such as bike and kayak tours, or take a relaxing break and take a historic tour of the Hotel Del Coronado.
Cannon Beach – Oregon
A small but charming coastal city in northwest Oregon is Cannon Beach. Explore beyond the water and enjoy boutiques, art galleries, museums and more. If you work up an appetite, you’ll have a wide variety to choose from such as pubs, bars, wineries, seafood and your traditional burger and fry spots.
Myrtle Beach – South Carolina
A popular vacation destination for many is Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. Located just off of the Atlantic Coast, this beach town offers something for everyone. Whether you’re on a family vacation or romantic getaway, you’ll be sure to enjoy your time here. Stroll the boardwalk where there are arcades, restaurants, Ferris wheels, and other amusement park style rides.
